we exist
Founded in 2021, Lan Pya Kyel is one of Myanmar's largest community-led organizations delivering integrated HIV and primary health care services to underserved, underprivileged, and marginalized communities.
We are committed to improving equitable access to high-quality, person-centered health services for populations that have historically faced barriers to healthcare, including men who have sex with men (MSM), transgender women (TGW), female sex workers (FSW), and other vulnerable groups.
Our Story
Lan Pya Kyel Association is a community-led organization empowering key populations through accessible, integrated health services and promoting well-being for all.

Twelve years of our journey
Lan Pya Kyel Officially Registered
Lan Pya Kyel was officially registered, marking the beginning of its formal journey in delivering HIV prevention, care and support services.
Continue ART Dispensing
Initiated Antiretroviral Therapy (ART) dispensing services.
Sustain Enhanced Outreach Approach
Introduced an enhanced outreach approach to strengthen HIV prevention and expand access to most at risk populations.
Continue HIV Viral Load Laboratory
Established an HIV viral load laboratory to support treatment monitoring and improve access to essential HIV care services.
Support PrEP Dispensing
Introduced Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) dispensing as part of HIV prevention services.
Became an Independent Entity
Lan Pya Kyel transitioned into an independent entity, strengthening its capacity to lead and deliver community-based programs.
Ma Baydar
Established a dedicated Transgender (TG) Specific Corner
HIV Self-Testing
Introduced HIV Self-Testing to provide communities with a convenient and confidential option for HIV testing.
Direct Donor Funding
Lan Pya Kyel reached another significant milestone by receiving direct funding from donors, strengthening its organizational independence and capacity to sustain and expand its programs.
New Organizational Logo
Developed a new organizational logo to strengthen the organization’s visual identity and represent its continued growth, development, and commitment to the communities it serves.
